Meet the guys who know the industry as well as anyone out there

Bill Holmgren—I have been with HRP Distributing for over 16 years now. I started working at a hobby shop in California when I was only 15. I worked there for almost 7 years. In 1994, I was offered a job here at HRP. I have been working or playing the r/c hobby for the last 24 years. My most recent r/c car is the RC10T4 by Team Associated. I have also recently purchased a T-Rex 450 by Align. I am still working on perfecting my hovering. Someday I’ll get the hang of it.

 

Jeff Yeager—I have worked at HRP for almost 18 years and worked in a hobby shop in San Diego for 6 years before moving to Salt Lake City and starting at HRP.  R/C has been my life well before I started working retail or wholesale.  My first RC car kit was a Tamiya Brat back in the early 80’s; I have messed around in all types of R/C since.  Right now my favorite toy is my Baja with some paddles and fresh dusting of snow.  I have been also trying to learn the fine art of flying a RC heli.  Besides being a salesperson for HRP I also manage Racers Edge and produce the HRP monthly flyer.  When I am not at work I hang out with my family, hike and play video games.

 

Scott Stanger—I have been an R/C hobbyist and racer for over 20 years. I co-owned a hobby store for 6 years before going to work at HRP. I've been at HRP for 9 years.  I've been involved with many areas of the R/C hobby. I have raced both electric and nitro, onroad and offroad, dirt oval, paved oval, and drags. I have built and flown many different airplanes, and I'm teaching myself to fly helicopters. I've even played around with R/C boats a little. I currently enjoy driving my Baja, flying my helis, and bashing on my brushless Revo.  Outside of R/C, I enjoy traveling to and competing in nostalgia drag races. I am also on the crew of a Nostalgia Top Fuel dragster.

 

Chris Carr—The newest member of our team, Chris has been with HRP since February of 2008. Chris enjoys many hobbies in his spare time including working on computers, playing his drums, shooting guns and most of all, his R/C. Chris has been tinkering on stuff since he was little, and has been in R/C since his Tamiya Blackfoot.  He most currently enjoys his Helis but also likes 4 wheel electric buggy racing and Sedan drifting. Chris most recently spent his career Managing a very Reputable Hobby shop and brings much real world experience to the company.
